Jack Butel began his career by winning back-to-back karting titles back in Jersey before moving into car racing and has since gone on to gain experience in a varied range of different championships, having competed in single-seaters and sportscars before a late deal to join the BTCC grid in 2020.
Racing a Mercedes-Benz A Class for Ciceley Motorsport, Jack scored his first points finish during the second race weekend at Brands Hatch Grand Prix, with the year being seen as one for development given a lack of testing before the action kicked off.
After moving to the EXCELR8 squad ahead of the 2021 season, Jack took huge strides forwards across the campaign and was in contention for the Jack Sears Trophy for much of the campaign.
He returns in the Bristol Street Motors with EXCELR8 TradePriceCars.com Hyundai i30 Fastback N for a second season in 2022, bidding for Jack Sears Trophy honours in the first year of the hybrid era.
