About

Thanks for scanning our QR Code.. Welcome to our profile page.

This is our fifth year racing with Mini Challenge. We first entered back in 2019, in the Am Class, moving to the Pro Class with slick tyres in 2020. This is the second seaon for this car, it was built in 2021 by James at Mannpower Motorsport.

The Mini Cooper makes a great race car, it runs a standard engine and gearbox, with a series specified ECU.

For more details visit the Mini Challenge website at www.minichallenge.co.uk

We run AST adjustable suspension, Mintex Brake pads and a Scorpion race exhaust with Cat. The rest of the car is standard manufacturer parts.

The car has to weigh a minimum of 1110kg’s including the driver.

We race at a variety of circuits across the UK, 3 rounds are as a support series for BTCC and the remainder are as support for the British Truck Racing Championship.

Being part of the BTCC Paddock is very special. We get live TV Coverage on ITV4 and can have 30,000 fans watching us at the circuit. It’s great for sponsors and commercial partners and gives a very good, cost effective platform to get involved with UK Motorsport at a high level.

Our main sponsor Racing Carbon Neutral is a Carbon Offsetting Platform, through which we have purchased Carbon Offset credits to cover our Carbon Emissions for our motorsport activities. At every race meeting we ensure everything we use in the preparation of the car and our hospitality over a weekend is either sustainable or bio-degradable where possible and we have stopped using single use plastics.

Even with all this taken into account, we still use oils, fuel and tyres at each meeting, so being able to offset our emissions, which includes tyre use is a great way to lessen the impact of our racing.

You can offset your journey to and from the circuit by signing up to Racing Carbon Neutral. Its quick and easy and only costs a few pounds to offset each journey.

Check out the information on the Racing Carbon Neutral Website which explains how the system works and gives information on Climate Change and Carbon Offset Credits. Visit www.racingcarbonneutral.co.uk or click on the logo in the top left corner of the screen.

If you’re visiting a circuit in 2023, come and see us and say hello!
